Hope You're Feeling Special Today!

Hi everyone and Happy Friday and welcome to my brand new blog! :)  I'm so excited to share that I am a brand new Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I was a demonstrator for a short period of time many years ago and fell in love with Stampin' Up!'s products.  I ventured into other forms of crafting, but continued to use Stampin' Up! products for the last ten years.  Recently, I decided to rejoin the Stampin' Up! family as a full time demonstrator.  I'm so excited to share my love of all things Stampin' Up! with you :)  Here's my first card:

Everything you need to make this card can be found at my Stampin' Up! store!  This card was created using the Garden In Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set.  This is a "two-step" stamp set, although some of the images, you can do up to three steps.  What's awesome about this stamp set is that each image in each "step" has a little tab on it so if you put your stamps on your blocks with tab in the same direction with each image, you'll get a perfect line up of your finished product (in other words, use the tab as your guide when stamping each image and they will line up perfectly).  Before I used my Garden In Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set, I first used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to create the background.  This stamp set is SO versatile, I love it!  I then stamped my flowers using Blushing Bride Classic Ink for the first step (the background solid image of the flower).  I then used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for the outline image on the bigger flowers and the outline of the bee.  I used Melon Mambo Classic Ink for the inside of the large flowers and for two of the three steps in the smaller flowers.  I used Old Olive Classic Ink for the stem of the large flower and for the inside of the leaves.  I used Always Artichoke Classic Ink for the outline of the leaves.  I used Melon Mambo cardstock for my card base and for the base of my image panel.  I ran a panel of Old Olive cardstock through my Big Shot using my Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  The piece of design paper is from the English Garden Designer Series Paper  I used the Banner Triple Punch  to create the sentiment panel.  I added Blushing Bride Sequin Trim and Silver Metallic Thread for some accents.  Finally, I added some gorgeous Rhinestones to the center of the flowers.  I'm really please with how this card came out.

What do you think?  Well, that's it from me today.  Thank you SO much for stopping by my brand new blog and I cannot wait to share my love of Stampin' Up! with you!

Huge Hugs,

Christine
