Peace: Brand New Christmas Stampin' Up! Card

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday!  I have a different take on the Reason for the Season Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! and I'm so excited to share it with you.

When I first posted a card with this set, I used all four components of the stamp (the outline, then the three pieces you see on this card).  But without using the outline this time, it gives it a different, but still very elegant and fun, look.  I also embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder which I thought was a nice touch.  What do you think?

Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link all the products used to make this card below.

Sweet Fall Card Using Stampin' Up! Products

Hi everyone and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I have a super cute fall card to share with you today using all brand new products from Stampin' Up!

I just can't get enough of the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set in the 2015 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.  Look how cute this little bear is! :)  I first took a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive cardstock for a background look.  I then pulled out my Into the Woods design paper (also from the 2015 Holiday Catalog) and created two banners using my Banner Punch.  I then stamped the cute bear in Early Espresso and cut him out with my circle framelits.  I added some green dots from the Regals dot set.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link all the products below.  Huge hugs!

Thankful for You - Hostess Gift Box and Card using Stampin' Up! Products

Hi everyone and happy Thursday!  I hope you are all having a wonderful week.  I needed a little gift box and card to give to one of my wonderful workshop hostesses so this is what I came up with.

For my projects today, I used the adorable new Stampin' Up! set, Thankful Forest Friends. I  love this set, it is SO cute!  To create the box, I cut out a 6" by 6" piece of Soft Suede cardstock.  I then scored it on each side at 2 inches.  Next, cut off the four corners (the section in between the score lines at each corner).  Next, I folded up at each score line to create the box shape.  I then adhered my design paper (from the Into the Woods paper stack).  Each piece was cut at 2 1/4" by 1 3/4" and adhered to the outside squares of the box.  Next, I used my 1/16" circle punch and punched holes in each corner, then thread my linen thread through each side and tied a bow.  This is how you hold the box together.  I then cut strips of Soft Suede cardstock and crinkled it to create the fun iside of the box.  I punched out the greeting (stamped in Tangerine Tango ink), from the Among the Branches stamp set, with a 2" circle punch, and adhered it to the box with dimensionals.  I then stamped the fox in Cajun Craze ink, cut him out, and adhered him to the box using dimensionals.  I found the tutorial for this box HERE.

For the card, I used a greeting from the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set and created the mutliple colors by coloring on the stamp itself with Stampin' Write markers, blowing on the stamp when done coloring, and stamping it onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  I used Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, and Old Olive markers.  I also used Into the Woods DP, Soft Suede and Tangerine Tango cardstock, Into the Woods DSP, dimenionals, linen thread, and cut out another fox.  What do you think?

Whew, that was sort of a long post today, sorry about that :)  Thanks for hanging in there with me.  I'll link all the products I used below.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by!

Congratulations - New card using Stampin' Up! products

Hi everyone and Happy Wednesday!  We're half way through the work week, yay! :)  I have a good friend I needed to send a congratulations card to so I whipped this one up.  Here it is:

I really wanted something bright and cheery so this is what I came up with.  I used the Dahlia background stamp in Melon Mambo, added some Tempting Turquoise design paper and cardstock, and them some sequins and rhinestones.  The new fine tip glue pen in the 2015 hoiday catalog is perfect for adhereing the sequins!  This is a must have glue pen, I love it!   I finished it off with a Melon Mambo ribbon and natural elements wood word, which I dipped in Melon Mambo ink.  What do you think?

Silent Night - Holiday Card using Stampin' Up! Products

Hi everyone and Happy Tuesday!  It's been dreary and rainy and chilly here the last two days.  Hope the weather is better wherever you are :)  I have a really fun card to share with you today so I'll get right to it.

For my card today, I wanted to create a brayered scene using Stampin' Up!'s brand new Wonderland stamp set.  I first cut out a piece fo Whisper White cardstock at 5" by 3 3/4".  I inked my brayer up with Rich Razzleberry ink and brayered the scene (usually I use multiple colors when I brayer, but I just wanted a very subtle dark to light look and if you look carefully at the card, you can see it's darker at the top and lighter purple at the bottom).  I then stamped my trees from teh Wonderland stamp set using Stampin' Up!'s Black Archival ink.  I then ran the panel through the Big Shot using Stampin' Up!'s Slowly Falling Textured Embossing Folder.  I added "snow" to my trees using a white gel pen.  I embossed the sentiment with Stampin' Up!'s gold embossing poweder.  I adhered the sentiment panel and the image panel to Stampin' Up!'s gold paper.  I also added Snowflake Elements and Gold Metallic Thread.  What do you think?

That's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link all the products below.  Have a wonderful day!

Fall Thinking of You using Stampin' Up! Products

Hi everyone and Happy Monday!  Mondays are always so crazy so I apologize for the late post.  I have a fall "Thinking of You" card to share with you today so I'll get right to it.

For this card, I combined a few different stamp sets.  First, I stamped my background in Pumpkin Pie using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (a must have, I LOVE it!).  Next I stamped the tree from Among the Branches Stamp set in Early Espresso.  I think stamped the sentiment "Thinking of You" from Sassy Salutations in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I then stamped the leaves (also from Among the Branches) in Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, and Cherry Cobbler.  I then adhered to Cherry Cobbler cardstock, then added a Pumpkin Pie ribbon, then adhered to Pumpkin Pie card base and also added some Iced Rhinestones.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today, thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link all the products below! :)

Stampin' Up!'s Sheltering Tree Duo

Hi everyone and happy Saturday! :)  It's a cold and wet day here, hope wherever you are, your weather is much better!  I decided to pull out Stampin' Up!'s Sheltering Tree stamp set again today, I just can't seem to keep it put away for long.  I wanted to try a slightly different look so I created two different cards.  Hope you like them:

I wanted to try mixing white with the main colors of the tree.  I did Melon Mambo and White on the card on the left and Soft Sky and white for the card on the right.  The Soft Sky barely shows up, but that's okay, I actually really like how these came out.  Here's some more photos:

What do you think?  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link below all the product I used to make these cards.
