Creating a Beatiful, Vintage Looking Card Using Stampin' Up's Pop of Petals Bundle

To view on YouTube, click HERE.

Hi everyone!  I have a new card and video tutorial to share today showing how I made this vintage looking card using Stampin' Up's Pop of Petals bundle as well as a few other stamp and die sets.  Here are some pictures of my card:

To create this card, I first started off with a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped 4 flowers from the Pop of Petals stamp set with Powder Pink ink and two with Berry Burst ink.  I put some dimensionals on the backs of all of the flowers and wound some metallic copper thread on the backs of the two Berry Burst flowers.  Next, I decided to use the Stitched Seasons Framelits (which are only available for the month of August, and only while supplies lasts) to cut out the beautiful stitched shape out of Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  I then stamped two leafy images from the Pop of Petals stamp set onto the Soft Sea Foam panel with Soft Sea Foam ink.  I then used my Embossing Buddy and ran it over the Soft Sea Foam panel and then stamped the splotchy image, which comes from Stampin' Up's Touches of Texture stamp set, with Versamark ink and then sprinkled Copper Embossing Powder over it and heat the powder with my heat gun.  I then adhered all of the flowers with dimensionals onto the Soft Sea Foam panel.  Next, I took a small strip of Berry Burst cardstock and stamped the greeting "Thank You," from the Abstract Impressions stamp set, with Versamark ink and then embossed it with copper embossing powder.  Next, I cut a piece of Berry Burst cardstock to 4" by 5 1/4" and ran it through my Big Shot with my Tufted Embossing Folder.  I then adhered that to a Powder Pink card base measuring 11" by 4 1/4" scored at 5 1/2".  I then adhered the Soft Sea Foam with dimensionals.  Next, I added punched a banner end to my sentiment panel using my Banner Triple Punch.  Next, I added dimensionals to the back of the sentiment panel and then wound some metallic copper thread around the back.  I then adhered the sentiment panel to the front of the card base.  I cut out two filigrees out of Copper Foil Paper for the bottom left and top right corner using the Stitched Season Framelits dies.  I adhered them and then, for a finishing touch, I added some rhinestones for some bling.  What do you think?

Well, that's it from me today.  Thanks so much as always for stopping by.  I'll link below to all the products used to create this card.  Huge hugs!

Quick Thank You Card and a Giveaway!!!!

To view on YouTube, click HERE.

Hi everyone!  I'm so sorry I was unable to do my Facebook Live last night, I was feeling under the weather.  I decided to do a quick video today sharing the super simple card I was going to make during the live and I also have a giveaway for you as well (to be eligible to win, just leave a comment on the video on YouTube by 9pm EST on Sunday, July 1).  Here's today's card:

I love the new Abstract Impressions stamp set and I wanted to share how easy and quickly it is to create a beautiful card with this stamp set.  To create this card, I first cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 3 3/4 by 5".  I then stamped my sentiment with Highland Heather ink and the swoosh under the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape. I then stamped the first step of the flower with Highland Heather stamped off.  I then stamped the second step with Highland Heather full strength, and then stamped the third set with Gorgeous Grape.  I stamped the butterfly's body with Memento Tuxedo black, then the two steps of the wings with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. I stamped the leaves with Pear Pizzazz.  I then adhered the stamped panel to a piece of Highland Heather cut at 4x5 1/4 and then adhered that to my card base, which was cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and measures 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4.

This was a super simple card to put together, but I think it came out quite nice.  I hope you love it :)  I'll link for you below all the products I used to create this card.  Also, don't forget to sign up for  my current online card class using the High Tide Stamp set (details for that class can be found HERE).  Thank you all so much for stopping by!  Big Hugs!

Creating a Bright Fun Card with Stampin' Up's Abstract Impressions Stamp Set

(To view on YouTube, click HERE)

Hi everyone!  In today's video, I just had to play again with Stampin' Up's brand new Abstract Impressions stamp set, which was just released in the new Annual Catalog.  I love using this stamp set to quickly create fun, artistic cards.  I hope you enjoy the video.  Here are some pictures of my card:

To create this card, I first started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut at 4 1/4" by 3 1/4 inches.  I stamped the grass with my lightest color first (Granny Apple Green) and then my darker color (Garden Green).  Next, I stamped the flowers (the more solid image first) in my lightest color (Bermuda Bay) and then stamped the second step in my darkest blue color (Pacific Point).  Next, I stamped the butterfly with first, Blushing Bride, then Melon Mambo.  I stamped the body of the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I then stamped the sentiment with Melon Mambo ink and then adhered the stamped panel to a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock measuring 4 1/2 by 3 1/2".  Next, I stamped the solid flower image with Bermuda Bay ink onto Bermuda Bay cardstock, which  measures 4 x 5 1/4".  I then adhered the Bermuda Bay to an A2 sized card of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then adhered the stamped panel with Dimensionals.  I added a bow out of thick Whisper White Baker's Twine and then added a few rhinestones to the centers of the flowers.  What do you think?

Don't forget, I'm having an online card class using the Abstract Impressions stamp set and coordinating thinlet set. For all the information on the class, see the video here:

Stampin' Up!'s new Abstract Impressions Stamp Set

Hi everyone!!!  Today, I have a fun card and video to share showing you the brand new Abstract Impressions stamp set in action.  This stamp set is brand new and is absolutely amazing.  I think if I had to pick a favorite set from the catalog, this would be it :)  I love two step stamping, it's one of my favorite techniques, and this stamp set makes it so easy to do.  I will be having an online class using this stamp set.  Please check back tomorrow for a video and blog post explaining all about the online class.  I wanted to do this video first so you could really see the stamp set in action so you could see if this is a class you would be interested in.  Here's today's video tutorial:
And here are some pictures of the card:

To create this card, I first cut out a piece of Whisper White cardstock at 4 1/4" by 3 1/4".  This is the panel we will stamp our images on.  I first stamped the sentiment using Memento black ink.  I then stamped the large flowers using first, Flirty Flamingo ink stamped off (meaning I stamped it once onto scratch paper, then stamped it down onto my cardstock), and then I stamped the second image with Flirty Flamingo ink full strength (not stamped off) and then I stamped the third image with Melon Mambo ink.  Next I stamped the leaf.  I stamped the first leaf image with Granny Apple Green ink and then the second part of the image with Garden Green ink.  Finally, I stamped the blue flowers.  The first layer was stamped with Bermuda Bay ink and the second layer was stamped with Pacific Point.  I then adhered the stamped panel to a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock cut at 4 1/2" by 3 1/2".  Next, I created an A2 sized card base (which measures 5 1/2" by 4 1/2") out of Thick Whisper White cardstock.  I then adhered a piece of designer series paper from the Garden Impressions 6x6 designer paper pad to the cardbase.  Next, I adhered some white baker's twine to the stamped panel, then adhered it to my card base with dimensionals.  Finally, I adhered some Rhinestones for some added bling.  What do you think?

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  All products used for today's card are linked below.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Christine
