Hi everyone and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I have a fun card to share today using the newly released Layering Croissant stamp set and coordinating dies. Here's my card:
I used all Stampin Up products to create the card. For the croissant, I used Peekaboo pink ink, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangerine Tango. For the blueberries, I used Marina Mist and Island Indigo. For the strawberries, I used Real Red and Rose Red ink and for the raspberries, I used Blushing Bride and Rose Red. I used the new hearts embossing folder and ran that through my Big Shot with Crumb Cake cardstock. I then adhered everything to Whisper White card base using dimensionals. I also added lots of Glossy Accents to the fruit. What do you think?
Well, that's it for me today. Thanks so much as always for stopping by.
Huge Hugs,
Christine

MFT and Watercoloring
Hi everyone!!! I have a super cute card to share with you today using the adorable Space Explorer stamp set from MFT and the Coordinating Dies. I colored the cute astronaut, space ship, planets, and the moon with copic markers. I then created my background with Stampin' Up! inks and watercolor paper. I used some white acrylic paint to splatter on the background to look like stars. If you are interested in any of the Stampin' Up proudcts, I used, feel free to visit my store HERE. This technique was so much fun. I also used my Wink of Stella glitter pen and some Glossy Accents to create some interest. I used Stampin' Up white embossing powder on the sentiment and then cut the ends to give it a banner type look. I also used some Stampin' Up silver thread behind the sentiment panel for some interest. I popped everything up with Stampin' Up dimensionals. What do you think?
Thanks so much as always for stopping by. Until next time :)

It's been a very good change for all of us, but as you can imagine with a 7 month old and a 4 year old, it's been pretty crazy and busy! :) Anyway, I'm back to crafting with my new craft area all set up and I'm so excited to share today's card with you!
Starting today, the new Spring Occasions Catalog is live and oh my goodness, you are going to LOVE the new products! I promise! Today also starts Stampin' Up!'s Sale A Bration and you know what that means . . . FREE goodies! :)
Today's card features a brand new stamp set from the Occasions Catalog called Beautiful You. It is full of wonderful images, I just love this new stamp set. Guess what SU also brought back in the Occasions catalog . . . watercolor pencils! Oh I'm so happy, they are wonderful! I stamped the image with Staz On black ink and then used my watercolor pencils and a blender pen to color the image. I had to put some silver glimmer paper on the card to brighten things up. The silver ribbon is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog! I hope you love it and I hope you will take some time to check out all the amazing new products Stampin' Up! has to offer. Thankful, Grateful, Blessed - A Different Take on New Stampin' Up Goodies
Hi everyone and Happy Friday!!! I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted. A lot has been going on here. After seven years as a prosecuting attorney, I decided I needed a change. It was such a rewarding job and I loved every minute of it, but as I was one day at the office looking at yet another autopsy report and autopsy photographs of a murdered child, I decided enough was enough. I just, for my own emotional well being, couldn't do it anymore. So, I got a new job in Charleston, WV, about a five hour drive from where we were currently living. So, in the last few weeks, we found a new place to live, moved, and I started a new job, all with a 4 month old, a 4 year old, and two cats and a husband! :) It's been crazy busy, but everything is great and I finally had some time to make a card.
I have a new card to share with you today using some brand new products from the Stampin' Up Holiday Catalog. I'm in love with the new Paisleys and Posies bundle in the new holiday catalog. There are so many different ways to use this set. The versatility means you can use this set all year long, not just during the holidays. Todays' card uses the emboss resist technique and some beautiful new in colors. Here's my card:
To create this card, I first stamped the images with versamark ink and stamped them all over a piece of whisper white cardstock. I then sprinkled clear stampin' emboss powder all over the panel and set it with my heat gun. Then, I got out my sponges and my Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Sweet Sugarplum ink pads and went to town sponging. I love this technique! To finish it off, I added some gold glimmer paper, some gold embossing powder to the sentiment, and some gold metallic thread. I also used some gold sequins. What do you think? Well, that's it from me today. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day and weekend!

Blessed - New Stampin' Up! Goodies!!!
Hi everyone! I have a super cute card to share with you today. This card uses a little bit of everything :) The "pumpkin" is made using the Thougthful Branches coordinating die set, Beautiful Branches. It's the top of the tree! :) I flipped it over, did some sponging using Tangerine Tango and Crumb Cake ink. Then I stamped the tree from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set, then cut out the trunk and used it for the top of the pumpkin. The adorable scarecrow is from a brand new set from the Holiday Catalog. It coordinates with the cookie cutter punch. I watercolored him with watercolor paper, aquapainters, and Stampin' Up ink. The sentiment comes from the new Paisley stamp set. I also uses some new copper foil paper and copper metallic thread. I also used Timeless Textures for the background. Here it is:
I just love, love, love this adorable card! I also made a little tag using the Stampin' Up! tag punch topper and tied a bow with the new kraft rope from the new holdiay catalog. What do you think?
Well, that's it from me today. I'll link below all the items I used to create this card. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Christine
